Humble Beginnings

Tutor Bazaar began with a simple idea — to bridge the gap between students seeking quality education and dedicated tutors. We noticed that many students struggle not because they lack potential, but because they lack the right guidance, the right mentor, and the right learning environment.

What started as a small initiative to help a few learners soon grew into a vision to impact thousands. We saw parents searching for trustworthy tutors, students looking for personal attention, and teachers wanting a platform to share their skills.

So, we decided to build a place where learning becomes personal, powerful, and accessible to everyone. Over time, Tutor Bazaar evolved into a complete education ecosystem — offering verified teachers, structured courses, personalized learning, and a platform that empowers both students and educators.

But at our core, our purpose remains the same:

The Journey

Our story starts in 2014 when our founders were also teachers and often encountered the problem of finding teaching job vacancies near their location. Soon they realized that this was not only their problem but a hectic process for many teachers. After speaking with parents, they learned that parents too were worried about finding an experienced and well-qualified teacher for their child. Students and parents were struggling to hire private tutors.

It was at that moment our founders identified an opportunity to start a venture that would eliminate the unnecessary inconvenience faced by students, parents, and tutors. After months of market research and planning, TutorBazaar.com was founded in October 2018.

TutorBazaar.com (also known as DeshRaj Enterprise / Dharm Singh Enterprise / Sahil Sagar Education) was started as an idea to narrow the gap between teachers who were struggling to find better tutoring jobs and students who were seeking home tutors. It paved a way for working professionals to take up part-time teaching after office hours and allowed housewives to earn by teaching part-time after completing household work.
